Bitter Waters & Tree Medicine

My newest piece explores grief tending, death care ritual, and the biblical story of bitter waters made sweet—holding together one part supernatural mystery, one part herbal and ecological science, and one part the restorative power of embedded relationship. It reframes “miracle” not as divine interruption, but as the weaving of connection, knowledge, intentionality, and care. What we call miraculous on the quest toward collective liberation often arises when loving human effort aligns with the Earth’s own capacity to regenerate.
